Whoo Hoot Wednesday!!

Posted on

Yep it’s Wednesday. Where has the week gone. Jamie only has half a day left at school this week. The teachers are on a course for the rest of it.

So what do I have to Whoo Hoot about this week:

1. Today I started an assignment & guess what?? It’s nearly finished!! Now this is a first for me and I am super stoked.

2. My big news – I have signed up to be a Stampin Up demonstrator. Yeah!!! So excited about this. Will be nice to be able to share my passion for creating. So if you live down my way and would like to have a workshop let me know. Or if you would like to see a catalogue or place an order just sing out (Even if you are not in my area! ūüôā ). Just in case you are not sure what Stampin’ Up is all about check them out here.¬†You can also¬†view the cataloge on there¬†too. My goodies havn’t arrived just yet but should be here any day now.

Right I better go & tick some things off my list of things I had to do today. And start a list for tomorrow lol (It is the only way I am getting things done at the moment!)

Man I am so good at reading peoples blogs but keeping my own updated is another story!

What can I tell you??

We all survived the holidays. Lots of trips to the park (when the weather played nicely), heaps of boards games and the odd swim at the local pool.

Jamie was plesased to get back to school today. The biggest reason……….. she has her first wiggly tooth!! She is so excited about it. Though she was in tears yesterday when she found it to be really wiggly – she was really worried that someone would pull it out (Andre had to have a broken tooth pulled out not so long ago). A few hugs and promises of the ‘tooth mouse’ coming to leave money & all is OK again.

Now the “tooth mouse” – apparently this must be a South African thing?!?!? According to my husband the mouse comes & leaves money in your shoe. I like the idea of the fairy but it looks like Andre is getting his way with this one.

Uni started again last week. Wahoo! Ok enough of the sarcasm. I am having a tough time with a few things at the moment but hopefully I will get myself sorted and be on the track to the end of the year.

I have some exciting news to share – hopefully by the end of the week or early next week. So stay tuned – I’m super excited about it!!!

Heck I can’t believe another birthday has come & gone. It seems as though they are getting closer and closer together as the years go on!

I was lying in bed Thursday night thinking about the last three years and I have finally realised why I feel so exhausted and in need on a LONG holiday on a tropical island.

In the last three years my family & I have –

* Moved house TWICE. I’m not talking just around the corner or within the same town I am talking large distances. I have had to say goodbye to two sets of awesome friends as we have made these journeys. As well as moving further and further away from my parents. Don’t get me wrong I have ‘enjoyed’ the challenges of moving but man I have had enough of it. No more moving (unless it is to said tropical island!)

* I have started studying full time. I am half way through a teaching degree and I have hit a low. I am just about ready to chuck it all away for the sake of my sanity. But I will keep going (unless someone offers me said holiday on a tropical island)¬†– I can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel just yet but I’m pretty sure that it is there somewhere.

So many other things have happened to us – lots of good things and a few not so flash. It has been a rollercoaster thats for sure.

Right, need to pull my socks up and get out of these ‘turning another year older blues’. The girls & I are going out for lunch with friends and then I am going to spend the afternoon scrapping. The weather is nasty here lots of snow around. Have a great weekend.

Ohhhh before I go – I went & saw “Sex in the City” on Thursday night. I have never watched an episode of the TV series so I was a little bit hesitant about going to watch it but man it was a really cool movie!!! A must see in my books.
