Layout for SBO Blog Challenge

February 10, 2008

Vicky set a great challenge over at the SBO Blog to do a layout using paint with your stamps. This is what I came up with. You can’t see the paint all that well – but it is there! :-) See the flower shape around the photo??

The two gorgeous girls – my Jamie & my gorgeous neice Sienna.

Thanks so much for all the awesome recipes. Please keep them coming! And I’ll be sure to share great ones I come across too!

Dare #37

January 30, 2008

So the first dare is up over at NZ Dares.

Here is my take on what ‘tickles my fancy’. I was looking through some old photos & when I came across these ones of Andre  – I just knew that these were the ones to scrap!! Aren’t the owls from the Sassafras lass paper just too cute!

What a hoot

Kiwi Jack Me Up

October 22, 2007

Yes another layout from me! I promise I will do a ‘proper’ blog post real soon. But I am having so much fun scrapping at the moment….. no time for blogging! :-)

So here is my layout for the “Delys” Jack over at Jack Me Up. Such a great layout to Jack. Thanks for the inspiration Delys.

Playing Around

The music in me

October 22, 2007

Finally I have got around to doing one of Neens’ Music in Me challenges.

This one was all about the song “Time after time” by Cindi Lauper. My layout is all about how much I love my family and how lucky I am to have them. Thanks for the challenge Neen.

 Time after time

Yes I am still around. Will update soon with all my news but in the mean time here are some layouts for the NZDares challenge at the moment – scrap a mood.  Loving doing different sizes at the moment. Especially 6×12 & 12×6. No laughing at my big belly now!!

Challenge five

September 8, 2007

of the challenges over at Scrapbook Essentials was all about doing a layout about a challenge and making it a double! (Layout that is). So here is my one. All about what a challenge it was bringing Jamie home from the hospital after having cardiac surgery. It’s nice and simple but I really love how it came out. And isn’t that owl too cute!!

Bringing Jamie Home

On the home front things are still just crazy as ever. We still havn’t had a date regarding our move but at this stage we are going with leaving Turangi on the 26th of Sept. So not long to go now!!

NB – OK for some reason when I publish the post it won’t show the whole layout. Click on it to see the whole thing.

It’s NZdares birthday

July 30, 2007

Have you been & checked out the comp on NZdares? So have ya?? They have got some  great prizes up for graps & a wee survey they would like you to do too. Here is my take on the dare.

 every day sight

I went to the gym today and got my programme. Wahoo!! It feels so good to be getting back into being at the gym. Nothing better than feeling your muscles burning after a good workout!

Right better get back into this study….

New layout

July 28, 2007

Wahoo – I scrapped last night. I did this layout for Vicky’s challenge on SBO. The challenge was to scrap some blury photos and these photos of Jamie on the swing at the park were just perfect.

Spin me faster!

Think I’ll have to do some more scrapping tonight! Study? What study? I have lots to do but hey it will still be there in the morning lol.

Can you believe it the kids are still sick. Lots of high temperatures, sleeping and generally not well. I took them both back to the doctors yesterday but he couldn’t find anything wrong with them. He said what ever they had has just knocked them for six and they need plenty of rest.  If they havn’t started to improve by Monday I will be taking them back. It just doesn’t seem right they have been sick for so long – it has been three weeks for Tiana now. I also get a bit worried about Jame with her heart condition too – don’t want the bugs to put any stress on it.

Righty ho, I’m off to sort out some RAK’s for some people!!
