New layout

Here is week fours layout for the SE comp. We had to use b&w photos, either black or white background & one other colour. I really like how it turned out. 

Well I only had two comments on my PIF post – so Ruth & Janine I will get something out to you over the next few days! Now PIF ladies!!

Nearly forgot this! This weeks dare was to use only scraps. For some reason I found this really hard. But this is what I came up with – Bacground is some bazzil that I painted for something else but didn’t use, scraps of pp& some lettering stickers that have been sitting around for ever.

Yes I’m still here!

Things have been crazy the last few weeks. First it was loads of assignments & studying to do then last week I was up on campus for four days of lectures etc. Fun! (NOT!!)

Not to mention all the things going on with the family. Andre has applied for a new job in wait for it – GORE!! We are just waiting for the final tick in the box so we can start planning for the big move south. So if you are anywhere near there put your hand up so know that there are others down that way & so I can pick your brain. We are looking foward to a new challenge. Though Jamie is not too sure yet.

Talking of Jamie, she has been going for school visits each Friday morning. Last week as soon as we got to the classroom she just freaked so I took her to kindy instead. This week so started to panic before we got out of the car. I asked her why she was so upset & I figured out that it was because they go straight into assembly & the crowd of people & the noise just really freaks her out (just like her dad!) So we went to the classroom but skipped the assembly. As we were waiting she said – Mum, school is really different from kindy. Why is it different I asked? Because I don’t know all the words to the songs! Ahh bless her!

Don’t think there is too much else to share. I have been doing the “Ulitmate Challenge” on the Scrapbook Essentials site. Here are my layouts so far.

Happy Birthday Tiana!

I can’t believe that my baby turned three today! Where did the time go? My baby is not a baby any more – she is a little girl, well in her eyes a big girl!!

 Happy Birthday Na-Na I love you lots and lots!!

Ohh & here is a pic of her doing her ‘egercises’ – I think I have a yoga guru on my hands!!

First school visit

Jamie had her first school visit this morning. She LOVED it!! She looked so cute sitting on the mat following along with what everybody else was doing. She didn’t want to leave at morning tea time and cried when I dropped her off at kindy. I have the up most confidence that she will do just fine when it is her time to start school.

While I was at school with Jamie, Tiana was with her friend and his mum on a visit at kindy. She is just itching to start kindy – but who knows when there will be a space for her

On another note Andre has a job interview (still with the Police) on the 16th of this month. Watch this space we could be moving to a town near you very soon.
